Day 1.

Arrival to the city of Pereira and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2. Chocolate and Fruits in Marsella

We will start our day touring around one of the most beautiful towns of the Coffee-growing Cultural Scenery, Marsella. There we will walk around its streets and we will see the architecture of its main plaza, the Cultural House and the colorful houses that embellish this beautiful coffee town. We will continue immersing in the coffee culture, walking among cacao trees. There we will taste chocolate mixed with some typical fruits of the region. Then, you will see all the process of Chocolate, having the opportunity to prepare your favorite beverage by yourself. We will enjoy a delicious lunch and then we will return to the hotel. Duration 8 Hours approximately.

Day 3. Serranía del Nudo, Nature, Scenery and Coffee

Our experience starts taking an authentic coffee vehicle (yipao). We will arrive at the Butterfly Garden where you will enjoy the recovery of a forest. We will continue our journey towards Serranía del Nudo, an important natural park, where we will enjoy its beautiful scenery, and from where you can observe Pereira, Dosquebradas, Santa Rosa, Marsella, the foothills of Quindío and the Natural Park Los Nevados (The Snow-covered Mountains). Later we will visit a traditional farm where we have for lunch a typical dish of the coffee-growing region. We will continue talking a walk and later we will know all the experience of coffee and we will taste one of the best coffees of the world. Return to the hotel and rest. Duration 8 Hours approximately.

Day 4.

Free day for shopping or other activities and trip to the city of Medellin.

Day 5. Medellin, Chocolate Experience

One of the traditional products of Colombia is cacao tree. This fruit has been by excellence the most used product by our old generation. We will visit a community project that works with cacao. We will know all its uses and we will have the privilege of having our own chocolate by the hands of a woman that has preserved this tradition. We will enjoy a typical lunch of the region. We will return to the hotel and rest. Duration: 10 Hours approximately.

Day 6. Coffee Experience in Medellin

We will start by visiting a traditional Coffee-growing farm in Medellin. There Don Octavio Acevedo and his family have their own coffee brand. They will let us know the process from the plant up to drinking our cup of coffee. We will enjoy a traditional lunch and continue learning more about coffee and we will be able to pick the grains, living in that way a unique experience. We will return to the hotel and rest. Duration 10 Hours approximately.

Day 7.

Free day for shopping and other activities and trip to the city of Cartagena.

Day 8. Chocolate, “the divine beverage” in Cartagena

We will start our tour visiting the Chocolate Museum, located in the center of the city. We will learn all the steps of the chocolate process and we will do a workshop on the creation of our own chocolate, accompanied by an expert artisan. We will savor three beverages that are very important, cacao tea, the Mayas beverage and a traditional hot chocolate to recharge our strength. We will return to the hotel and have free time to rest. Duration 3 Hours approximately.

Day 9. Rum Tasting in Gethsemane Cartagena

We will start our tour walking up to the picturesque neighborhood Gethsemane. There we will go to El Arsenal bar where Abraham Dau will accompany us. He has the most complete collection of rums in the country and is considered one of the five best bartenders in Colombia. We will venture in a journey of flavors, tasting eight Colombian rums, considered as the best worldwide, some will be in shots, others in sips and others in cocktail shakers, accompanied by the texture of one of best Colombian chocolates, living in this way an unforgettable experience. Return to the hotel walking or free time to do other activities. Duration 2 to 3 Hours approximately.

Day 10.

Free time to rest and go shopping, transfer to Rafael Núñez Airport to return. End of the service.

Terms and Conditions

For the cancellation or modification of each of the reserved rooms, there is a period of 90 calendar days before the arrival of the passengers, exempting them from any penalty. For reservations cancelled between 89 to 30 calendar days before the arrival of the passengers, 50% of the value of the booked package is charged, according to the number of people and the chosen plan. Any cancellations of the booked rooms, which are made during the last 29 calendar days before the arrival of the passengers, will be charged for the entire amount of the cancelled reservation, according to the number of people and the booked plan.
No reservation is refundable. If you comply with the cancellation dates you can reactivate your plan within the next 12 months, taking into account that it will be subjected to availability and rates.
After the start of the trip there might be changes in the accommodation. Hotels reserve the right to make changes according to their own policies.
Any force majeure will be treated according to medical services (emergency events, incapacities, or hospitalization). These documents have to be issued by legal institutions for healthcare. In case of death of one of the passengers or a family member in the first degree of consanguinity, a death certificate has to be presented. Any certification that is presented must match the travel dates.
CHECK IN:  The time for the guest to get access to the hotel room, which will be specified in the details of the reservation.
CHECK OUT:  The maximum time for the room delivery on the departure day, which will be specified in the details of the reservation.
EARLY CHECK IN: It is understood as the possibility to receive access to the room earlier than the stipulated time, this service is subject to availability and may have an additional cost.
LATE CHECK OUT: It is understood as the room deivering later than the stipulated time, this service is subject to availability and, may have an additional cost.
